This tour is the perfect opportunity to sit back, relax and know you will be able to take in all of the beauties of the Dover coast without the strenuous travel and walking of other tours. You will be picked up by your driver/guide and taken across multiple locations between Dover, Deal and Ramsgate to give you the chance to capture all that the shoreline has to offer without having to do any extensive travelling.

  • Your first photo stop will start at The Western Heights in Dover, taking in it’s captivating views overlooking the Eastern Docks, bustling town and skyline sites of Dover Castle. This English Heritage site forms an extensive network of fortifications that were built to protect the land from invaders, dating back to the 17th century.

  • Next will be a visit to Samphire Hoe Country Park, situated a few miles west of Dover. This park was created using the excavated chalk which was mined while creating The Channel Tunnel. Sitting underneath the Shakespeare Cliffs, this is the perfect stop to take in the sea air and admire the wildflowers in bloom.

  • Moving on to The Battle of Britain Memorial, your driver/guide will take you to the rural site in Capel-le-Ferne, to marvel in the memory of the aircrews that flew in the Battle of Britain.

  • Next, your driver/guide will go back east through Dover to the National Trust site of The White Cliffs of Dover. These iconic cliffs give you spectacular views of the French coastline, making it great for those picture perfect moments.

  • You will make your way down to St Margaret’s Bay, a hidden treasure between the cliffs sites and once a home to the famous Ian Fleming, author of James Bond. Here you will be able to stop at the local pub/café for refreshments while absorbing all this dainty site has to offer.

  • Carrying on further, your driver/guide will stop at the historic Julius Caesar memorial plaque on Walmer seafront. This indicates the spot where Caesar and his troops first landed in August 55BC to invade Britain. Walmer now boasts independent coffee spots and beautiful Greenland on the edge of the seafront.

  • After, you will be given free time to roam the cosy town of Deal, packed with quality restaurants, cafes and bars. Giving you the opportunity to have some refreshments and reflect on all that you have seen so far.

  • You will then be moving onto the medieval town of Sandwich, filled with quirky streets and farmers markets.

  • Last stop, is the town of Ramsgate. Here, you will find a marina harbour used by many locals and independent fisherman. You will get the opportunity to explore the antique stores and boutiques filled with character. This is the perfect chance to sample the locally sourced fish and chips while sitting on the marina’s edge.

Your driver/guide will then take you back to Dover, making this a great Dover England's coast day trip with no fuss.
